Sean Olsder is a pianist and saxophonist who also has a background in Psychology. He graduated with Honours in Classical Performance from the Elder Conservatorium of Music in 2017. During his degree he was awarded the Elizabeth Matthews Prize for excellence in music, and in 2017 placed 1st in the Recitals Australia Lunch Hour Awards. In 2015, he travelled to Germany to perform at the 11th International Masterclass for Classical Saxophone.
Sean has extensive performing experience both as a soloist and a Chamber and Orchestral musician and has performed with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and many others.
Sean has also been active as a teacher since 2012, teaching a variety of instruments in both schools and privately with adult learners. He is currently studying Masters in Classical Performance, he is passionate in research learning strategies and memory. He is the perfect teacher for adult beginners.
